Itinerary
Day 01 : Mumbai - Thanjavur - On arrival meet and greet, our tour
assistance will meet and transfer to the hotel. Early evening visit the
temples. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Thanjavur - Madurai - After breakfast depart for Madurai(220
Kms/05 hours) on arrival transfer to the hotel. In early evening visit to
Naikar Mahal and Meenakshi temples. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight
at the hotel.
Day 03 : Madurai - Rameshwaram - After breakfast go for full day visit
to Rameshwaram(160 Kms/04 hours). Day visit to temples and return to the hotel
in Madurai. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Madurai - Kodai - After breakfast depart for Kodai(125 Kms/3.5
hours). On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure or for
individual activities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Kodai - After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Kodai
visiting the Bryant's Park, Croakers walk, Green Valley View, Telescope Houses.
Early visit the pillar rocks and Kurinji and Andavar Temple. Evening one can
take a boat ride in the Kodai Lake. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight
at the hotel.
Day 06 : Kodai - Munnar - After breakfast depart for Munnar(180 Kms/06
hours). On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening visit the lakeside surrounded by
hills and tea plantations. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.
Day 07 : Munnar - After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Munnar
visiting the Kannan Devan, Eravikulam wildlife sanctuary where one can find the
Ibex(the only place in India where one can find these Ibex). Evening free to
enjoy the surrounding of Munnar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Munnar - Thekkady - After breakfast check out and drive to
Thekkady(110 Kms/03 hours). On arrival transfer to the hotel. After lunch one
can take a spice and Cardamom Plantation Tour. Youngsters can trek into the
jungle. Evening free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Thekkady - After breakfast take a boat ride for 02 hours at
Periyar Lake. To see the wildlife especially elephants with their young ones on
the lakeside. Evening free to shop the Cardamom and the spices. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Thekkady - Kumarakom - After breakfast depart for Kumarakom(110
Kms/04 hours) on arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening around 1730
hours one can take a one hour sunset cruise and backwater and also there will
be a cultural programme in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Kumarakom - After breakfast depart for village tour by boat
around 1130 hours. In the afternoon depart for Kottayam to visit the temples
return to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure and in the evening there
will be a cultural programme. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Cochin - After breakfast depart for Cochin(70 Kms/02 hours). On
arrival transfer to the hotel. Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue,
St. Francis Church and see the Chinese Fishing nets. Dinner and overnight at
the hotel.
