Nestling in the foothills of the
Himalayas, Corbett National Park has extremely varied topography and
vegetation. This gives it a rich diversity of habitat and natural
beauty. Flat valleys are interspersed with hilly ridges and the Park’s
rolling grasslands. The Ramganga River flows through the Park and
little forest streams tumble through thr ravines. While dense stands
of Sal cloak the higher ridges, mixed deciduous forest are found
throughout the park. There are over 110 varieties of trees, 51 species
of shrubs and over 33 kinds of bamboo and grasses. |

The Rosewood offers deluxe cottages and rooms, superior rooms & standard cottages. All are with ensuite facilities. All cottages are air-conditioned. Each room / cottage is equipped with a double / twin bed, coffee table, chairs, clothes rack, air-conditioner etc. Each one has an attached western style toilet and a hot shower. |

Restaurant :
A ‘Gol Ghar’ dining hall that serves Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine in buffet style. There is a stand-by generator for full power backup in case of electricity failure. Folk music and local performance can be arranged upon request for groups. Meals : You can have your meals in the ‘Gol Ghar’ that serves a fixed menu at fixed times. The usual menu includes American breakfast, Indian lunch and Indian, bar-be-Que & Western dinner. |

Activities :
Our naturalists and jeep drivers are trained to guide you for birding walks, Elephant ride, jungle visits for animal & bird viewing and tiger-tracking. In the evening slide presentation is given to the guests to let them know about the flora and fauna of the park. |
