Badrianth is located at the height of 10250 km from sea level. Sri Narayan (God Vishnu) performed rigorous penance here and laxmijee provide shelter to god in form of Badri tree hence this place is known as Badrianth. Badrinath is situated at the bank of Alaknanda River and surrounded by Nar and Narayan parvat. Badrianth Temple is opened for six month and remaining six month is closed. Temple opens early in morning and opened till after noon Rajbhog darshan.
