The old town was destroyed by earthquake of 1905 and the present one is the new Kangra town. The wealthy and famous Brajeswari temple is located here and is one of the fifty-one sacred Hindu shaktipeeths. This temple follows a unique tradition of worshipping the goddess. Main festival of Mata Brajeshwari temple is Makkar sakranti and is known as Dhrit Parv. During this time pilgrims can see the tradition of this festival which was started from ancient time. In this festival makhan is cleaned one hunderde one times and then Pindi is decorated with that makhan. And after seven days makhan is distributed among various pilgrims. This makhan is very useful to cure many skin diseases.

Kangra Fort : The Kangra Fort situated at a 3 KM distance from Hotel , on the out start of the Kangra Town. The fort is entered through a small courtyard enclose between two gates which are known as Patak and only date from the Sikh period, as appears from an inscription over the entance. These gates possess no archaeological interest. From here a long and narrow passage leads up to the top of the Fort through the Ahani and Amiri Darwaza, both attributed to Nawab Alif Khan, the first governor of Kangra . This is the main place for foreigner tourist. There are other tourist palces also. Like Jain Mandir, Achhla Kund (this place is famous because akbar came to achhla kund to fulfill his dream to have son in future), Gupt Ganga, and Jyanti Mata Mandir.

Chamunda Devi : This Temple is about 25 KM from the hotel. Chamunda is a little station on the Pathankot-Jogindernagar narrow gauge railway track. There’s the Chamunda Devi Temple here, right on the banks of the Baner River. It is also a pretty picnic spot with a good view of the mountains, the Baner Khad (khad means hillside) and the Pathiar and Lahl forests. & The temple is dedicated to goddess Kali (a form of Shakti or power, also goddess of war) in her wrathful avatar (form) of Chamunda

Baijnath temple : Baijnath Shiv temple is abut 50 K.M. from the hotel. Situated alongside Mandi - Palampur road. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is worshipped for the lingam of Shiva. Originally named as Kirangama, the name of the temple changed to Baijnath after dedicating it to Lord Shiva, who is also known as the 'Lord of Physicians'. Every year during the month of March 'Shivratri fair' is celebrated to mark the presence of Lord Shiva and witnessed by huge number of devotees who sing, dance and perform prayers to the main deity of the temple.

Bagla Mukhi Temple : Bagla Mukhi temple is 22 KM from the hotel. Bagalamukhi. Three eyes, wearing yellow clothes and gems, moon as her diadem, wearing champaka blossoms, with one hand holding the tongue of an enemy and with the left hand spiking him, thus should you meditate on the paralyser of the three worlds
She is the goddess of black magic, of poisons. She rules over the subtle perception which make us feel at a distance the death or misery of those we know. She incites men to torture one another. She revels in suffering - emies and evils. In Hinduism, Bagalamukhi is one of the Ten mahavidyas. Bagalamukhi Devi smashes the devotee's misconceptions and delusions by her cudgel.

Kaleshwar Mahadev : The most awaited celebration at Kaleshwar Temple is the Maha Shivaratri Utsav. It is a five- day long celebration. There is a fair throughout. The idol of Kaleshwar is drawn in the chariot. A huge congregation from distant places gathers in frenzy. Religious rites are performed intensively to the resonance of the drum and shehnai. Folk dramas (Dashavtar), Kirtans and Chanting of Mantras and Bhajans are the regular features during the festivals of Mahashivaratri Utsav. Special decorations of the Temples and the deity (Utsavmurti) are truly spectacular sights.

Chintpurnni temple : Chintpurni Temple is a revered shrine of the Hindus. Located in Chintpurni village of Una district, Chintpurni Devi Mandir is a famous temple of Himachal Pradesh. The temple is accessible from all the parts of Himachal. Temple is about 63 KM from the hotel. However, there are bus-services at regular intervals from Chandigarh, Kangra and Jwala Devi. Chintpurni Temple is dedicated to Shri Chhinnamastika Devi or Chintpurni Devi. Like other temples of the Hindus, this too has legends behind its establishment.

Chintpurni Devi is regarded as the Goddess who takes away all the worries of her devotees. The term 'Chhinnamastika' suggests 'without the head'. Here, the Goddess is depicted without her head in a pindi (phallic) form. Devotees come to this temple with a perpetual faith that the Goddess would bless them and fulfill all their wishes. It is said that nobody goes empty handed from the shrine of Goddess Chintpurni / Chhinnamastika.

The simple structure of the temple contains the main shrine, where the image of Mata Chintpurni is placed in the form a pindi (a round stone). During the time of Navratras, the temple observes grand fairs and festivity. People from far and near come to visit this holy shrine to seek the blessings from the Goddess. In the past years, the temple has been repaired and modified to hold the huge crowd during festivals.

Dharamshala / Mcleodganj : Dharamshala is about 15 KM from the hotel and Mcleodganj is 25 KM from the hotel. Many travelers come here, and the atmosphere is like that in Kathmandu. This is where the Dalai Lama lives with his followers. It is located at an altitude between 1200m and 1800m, so it is a pleasant place to come in the summer, but the winters gets very cold. Located in a beautiful area, it is a nice place to take a walk around the countryside.
The town is divided into a lower part and upper part, which is called McLeod Ganj, 10km above Dharamsala. Most visitors stay in McLeod Ganj. The Tibetan Government in Exile is located at Gangchen Kyishong,4 km from Dharamsala.
